Description
The protective photocells must comply with the EN 12978 standard. It is necessary to protect door systems in which there is a risk of "dangerous conveyance" when opening due to the construction features (e.g. for mesh roller shutters) or for door heights below 2.5 m, in the event of "dragging" the rolling mechanism into the dangerous area during OPENING or CLOSING strokes. Safe operation is tested with a dipstick of max. Ø50 mm.

The TWIN-SAFE model features a special design to protect against entrapment with a top-mounted optical unit that can be oriented in all directions with a single central fixing screw. The TWIN-SAFE model has a potential-free switching contact with test input and can be connected directly to common control devices via the test input.
