The 1043/208 linear reflective smoke detector is an addressed device for 500 series digital control panels (1043/550A, 1043/560A and 1043/570A). It is particularly suitable for satisfying applications in the tertiary sector and in particular environments, such as museums, churches, historic buildings, etc.
The detector contains both transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx) sections of the infrared signal; its operating principle is based on the interaction between the smoke present in an environment generated by a fire and an infrared ray emitted and reflected by a special optical reflector.
The device has three LED indicators and two 7-segment displays for notifying information to the installer; on the detector board there are connection terminals to the detection line and connection terminals for the remote alarm repeater.
The detector configuration can be defined by a series of microswitches or directly on the control unit.
