The emergency microphone allows general calls to be made with priority over all other inputs (including pre-recorded messages during ALERT and EVAC events) and can be connected directly to a 1043/45x central unit via a "J" type flame retardant cable (four pairs of conductors).
The 1043/463 can be installed together with other microphone stations, such as 1043/461 or 1043/462 (up to a maximum of 4, interlocked with each other), and must be the first device on the line.
It is powered directly by the central unit 1043/45x, while the other microphone bases (second, third and fourth) require external 24 Vdc - 500 mA power supplies, optional card 1043/474.
The microphone panel is equipped only with the protected bistable emergency button (with red light), which is used for alert and evacuation announcements with active alarms (general call function only).
The microphone status is indicated by the LED light bar.
