• VERTIGO Wi-Fi works like a sensitive edge but has the big advantage
to avoid the impact of the gate with people or things, thus saving you money
having to measure the impacts with the appropriate instrument.
• VERTIGO Wi-Fi signals the MASTER Wi-Fi board when the batteries are running low
to completely discharge (about a week before) by issuing a
signal. MASTER Wi-Fi beeps for one minute each time
command given to the automation.
• The battery life is 3 years.
• Up to 6 VERTIGO Wi-Fi can be installed by uniquely identifying them.
• The range of the infrared signal of the photocells is 3 m, so they can
protect the leaf of a moving gate from the ground up to a height of 3 m.
• The range of the radio signal of the photocells is therefore greater than 20 m
MASTER Wi-Fi must be within this range, with no walls in between
that may obstruct the signal.
• VERTIGO Wi-Fi is an EN12978, EN13849- Certified Security Device
2:2008 and together with a RIB electronic panel equipped with self-test is a
Class 2 protective device.
• VERTIGO WI-Fi is bumpable.
• The Firmware is certified according to the EN61508-3:2001 standard.
• It is possible to exclude VERTIGO Wi-Fi in case of maintenance by moving a
microswitch on the MASTER Wi-Fi board. The gate will be able to continue to
work with the other active safeties.
• It is possible to delete the code of a VERTIGO Wi-Fi and enter a new one
in case of failure.
• Each VERTIGO Wi-Fi has a unique recognition code programmed into it
factory in order to avoid disturbances between the various safety devices installed or present
on other nearby automations.
