CDR999 is a latest generation infrared security system,
particularly suitable for the protection of passages (driveways and pedestrians) equipped with systems
automatic opening and closing. The circuit part was created according to the most
updated standards dictated by current regulations making the equipment compliant
to category 3 standards of UNI EN ISO 13849-1 (update of EN954-1).
The need to ensure greater immunity to disturbances in an increasingly challenging environment
polluted by disturbing elements has led to the evolution of both the transmitting and
of the receiving one, based on "single failure resistance" criteria that guarantee the
maintaining safety even in the event of electrical problems.
The management of both the transmitting and receiving parts is implemented through
microcontroller, thus obtaining greater precision in pulse generation
transmitted via infrared which, modulated according to a digital protocol, eliminate the
risk of blinding.

Infrared transmission by digital modulation of the carrier signal.
Reception with demodulation and protocol decoding, for device recognition
transmitter.
Possibility of connecting up to 3 devices in cascade, multiplexing the transmission, without
have interference; the selection is made via a two-way dip-switch placed on both
on TX and RX by connecting the three transmitters to each other using a two-wire cable
(synchronism); no additional connection is required on the receivers.
Double relays on receiver, driven with digital control to increase safety
output part (which provides the rest/alarm state).
Possibility to choose pure contact or 8.2 KO output.
Differential signaling LED on receiver: "correct functioning" status signalled
by a brief intermittent activation (every minute), "alarm" status signaled by LED
always on.
Pre-amplified receiver optics.
Reinforced power supply to tolerate voltages up to 40 Vdc or 28 Vac.
