The rain detector is the device to be placed in the open air where it can interact with the actuators when continuous rain occurs. The sensor can be connected:
• directly via wire to Kato ADV Radio - NRS1
• directly via wire to the K Series control units and to all equipment where signal processing is envisaged or where a dry contact signal (voltage-free) is required.
The detector is insensitive to the formation of dew or humidity, after precipitation it dries very quickly and does not allow the formation of ice. The power cable is 5 m long, built to withstand the external environment with a PVC sheath that is highly resistant to atmospheric agents, fire retardant and resistant to UV rays.
