It has two inputs for detecting the open or closed state of a volt-free contact connected in series with a 10k? resistor. In the standby state, the contact must be open; in the event of a fault, it must be closed. The first input (marked IN1) detects a closed contact as an ALARM. The second input (marked IN2) detects a closed contact as a FAULT. The two inputs can be associated simultaneously, providing both alarm and fault information.
In the standby state, the MSTAY supervises the external line using a 33k? resistor, indicating an open or crossed line condition.
Typically used to signal the status of other detection systems, such as flow sensor connections in sprinkler systems, limit switches on fire doors, lifts, tank levels, etc.
The flashing red LED indicates communication with the control panel, while a steady light indicates an alarm state. The green LED lights up to indicate that one or both inputs are active.
This module has an output for activating a remote indicator, which is activated when the module is in alarm state. The Technical Signal Module is powered via the loop connection.
Supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS. The MSTAY module is certified to EN 54-18 by AENOR and bears the CE marking under the European Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
