Specifications
Description
Microprocessor-based addressable module (with short-circuit isolator) installed as an additional loop device.
This module allows conventional detectors and/or call points to be connected to an addressable fire detection system, acting as an interface between an addressable control panel and a conventional system.
A maximum of 10 conventional call points can be installed on the "Zone C" terminal block. A maximum of 20 COFEM-26 (A30XT) and COFEM-27 (A30XV) heat detectors, or 15 devices in total comprising COFEM-24 (A30XH) and COFEM-25 (A30XHS) smoke detectors and conventional call points, can be installed on the "Zone D" terminal block. Both terminal blocks monitor the line via a 10µF/63V end-of-line capacitor. This indicates an open line, crossed line, detector alarm, or call point alarm.
The flashing red transparent LED indicates communication with the control panel, while a steady light indicates an alarm from a detector or call point connected to this module.
This module has an output for activating a remote indicator, which is activated when the module is in alarm status. The analog master module is powered via the loop connection.
Supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS.
The KMAY module is certified to EN 54-18 by AENOR and carries CE marking in accordance with the European Construction Products Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011.
