Description
Microprocessor-based, addressable module (with short-circuit isolator) that is installed as an additional loop device.
This is a two-output relay module with independently actuated relays (two functions), configurable by application type (siren, operations, or crossed relay), timing, and combination of sensors that activate them.
The modules are powered via the loop connection, but require a 30V auxiliary power supply to provide the energy needed by the devices controlled by the relays. They monitor for the presence of voltage on the 30V auxiliary power supply line as well as on the supervised relay outputs
Features
• The module is protected by a 0.9 A resettable fuse, and each supervised output by a 0.5 A fuse
• The flashing red LED indicates communication with the control panel. The green LED indicates that one or both relays are activated
• In standby mode, the MDA2Y monitors each output via a 33 k? resistor, indicating an open or crossed line
• Supplied in rectangular modules made of heat-resistant ABS
