GENERAL DESCRIPTION IRIS SERIES:
The IRIS adjustable photocells allow you to detect obstacles present on the optical axis between the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) with a range of up to 30 m.
State-of-the-art: The photocell is housed on a rotating support equipped with a high-performance lens designed to optimize the efficiency of the beam in any direction. The rotating support is blocked in the desired position thanks to a resistant rotation lock with screw tightening (removable if necessary with a screwdriver). The successful alignment is indicated by a LED on the receiver.
The high-performance Fresnel-type optic is easily adjustable on frictioned and self-locking joints both horizontally, being able to perform a rotation of 180° (± 90°), and vertically with a possible rotation of ± 10°. The optics are completely independent from the electronic board, this greatly facilitates orientation once the wiring has been completed.
Double relay equipment with switches in series, the NC contact and the phototest function make it compliant with category 3 standards of UNI EN ISO 13849-1 (update of EN 954-1). Possibility of connecting a maximum of 8 pairs of photocells synchronizing the transmission (multiplexed system) without interference. The selection is made via 4-way dip-switches located on both the transmitter and receiver.
IR transmission with advanced digital protocol which guarantees maximum efficiency, immunity to disturbances and reduction of consumption. Reinforced power supply to tolerate voltages up to 35Vdc or 30Vac.
The optic is adjustable on self-locking friction joints both horizontally, being able to rotate 180°, and vertically with a possible rotation of ± 10° with respect to the horizontal position.
