The doors must be protected against falling during normal use or when a single element of the fastening system breaks. The door must not be able to move uncontrollably in the event of a component breaking. In the event that a hinge or other support means breaks or is damaged, the anti-fall safety device must be able to keep the door in position with a maximum displacement of 30 cm from the axis of rotation. The door must also be equipped with a device which prevents the door leaf, during the opening or closing movement, from being raised by more than 50% of the length of the hinge pin or any other means of support (device " anti-lifting").
