The protection device is an accessory of a PBX that intervenes in the presence of a power surge, typically generated by atmospheric events or by disturbances induced on the power supply.
The protection device must be installed on the power line at the entrance of the system to be protected. For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with the UTD 1382/80 mains filter for their complementary action.
