The interface is a wireless input module that transmits the status of a device to the fire detection control panel via the 1043/350 central module. The interface has a supervised ON/OFF input that must be connected to a normally open contact present and controlled by the device to be controlled. If the contact closes, the wireless input module sends an alarm message to the 1043/350 module which notifies the fire detection control panel connected to it. The module input is of the supervised type and requires the use of an end-of-line resistor that must be positioned close to and in parallel with the alarm contact on the device to be controlled; An opening or short circuit of the connection line between the module input and the equipment contact, causes the generation of a fault message from the input module to the 1043/350 module with subsequent notification to the fire detection control panel. The alarm and fault signals can reach the 1043/350 module directly or via one or more 1043/351 radio expansion modules. Communication between the input module and the 1043/350 and 1043/351 modules occurs in radio mode using a bidirectional protocol.
