The Modix control unit integrates the KL Series with a battery pack to power 24V motors autonomously, even when mains power is unavailable. When no power is required, a charging device keeps the batteries fully charged and ready for use. All control and command functions are the same as those of the KL Series control units, whose circuit board is integrated into the MODIX. Therefore, all the same devices compatible with the KL units can be connected (sensors, controls, 24V motors). Where more than 1.2 Ah of capacity is required, the battery pack capacity must be increased. The Modix control unit is housed in an impact-resistant plastic enclosure (grey) with an IP43 protection rating. The enclosure contains the batteries, the backup charging device, the interface board and the electronic board of the required KL Series control unit. The "R" version, equipped with a radio receiver, allows the motors to be operated remotely using the 30-channel PIK remote control. CE-marked equipment compliant with the relevant EU directives.
