Dual-technology outdoor curtain detector (MW+PIR), with anti-masking and anti-blinding. IP 65, ideal for installations particularly exposed to the elements. Temperature compensation and insect filter. Supplied with joints and adapter for corner, wall, and ceiling mounting.
Faro IP PLUS is a Microwave (MW) and Infrared Sensor (PIR) Dual Technology presence sensor designed by Venitem for use in outdoor alarm systems.
The detector is fully waterproof thanks to the seals in the closing profiles, making it ideal for applications with particularly high exposure to the elements.
In addition, Faro IP PLUS features Venitem's most advanced patented systems to counter any tampering attempt:
• infrared lens anti-blinding system,
• microwave section anti-masking system.
When correctly installed, the Faro IP PLUS presence detector can achieve a maximum range of 10-12 m and can be configured to operate in crossing (curtain) or approaching (corridor) mode.
In addition, Faro IP PLUS features an insect anti-masking system with a small insect filter and, with the dedicated accessory installed, can provide immunity to small animals.
Finally, the sensor's processing algorithms automatically optimize detection according to the temperature (temperature compensation), and the LED OFF function allows the sensor's detection indicators to be disabled while keeping the memory indicators enabled.
