Emergency wall microphone, dedicated to firefighters, identical in operation to the 1043/461 microphone base: it can be directly connected to the 1043/35x central unit via a flame-retardant 8-conductor (4 pair) type J cable.
It is possible to connect in cascade (in the same line) up to four microphone bases (interlocked with each other). In this case, the first microphone base of the line is powered directly by the central unit 1043/45x, while the second, third and fourth require external 24 Vdc - 500 mA power supplies, for example, the optional power supply 1043/474.
The total length (considering the sum of all cables) must not exceed 800 m.
Compared to the 1043/461 base, it has the following differences: the microphone base is protected inside a metal box (RAL 3000 red) with glass and installed on the wall there is a dynamic handheld microphone with activation button (instead of a microphone capsule on a flexible cable).
Since it is a fire station, it must be used for emergency purposes and must be connected as the first on the line, placed in a room with access reserved for authorised personnel only.
