Applications:
The Ondeis WireFree RTS Rain and Sun Sensor is a solar powered rain and sun sensor that is compatible with RTS motorized outdoor products, including awnings, blinds and screens. The sensor is completely wireless and uses optical rain sensing technology to measure rainfall, then sends an RTS command when rainfall exceeds a user-selected threshold. The sensor also uses a solar level sensor that sends an RTS command when sunlight exceeds a user-selected threshold.
Flexible and easy to install
• A channel communicates with an RTS motorized product or a group of motorized products.
• Two-way mounting bracket allows for multiple mounting options: simple and flexible installation on wall, pole or gutter, using provided hardware.
• Demo mode reduces response times for testing.
• The potentiometer allows users to set threshold levels for rain and sun detection and easily adjustable preferred settings.
• LED indicators provide visual feedback of product functions with easy-to-see confirmations.
• The mode selector sets the use of an awning, an external screen or a roller shutter.
Communication
• Regularly sends a signal to the motor to ensure a maintained connection.
• It works even in case of signal loss, protecting the motorized application.
