Outdoor motion detector that warns BEFORE the intrusion.
Paired with the Somfy PROTEXIAL IO alarm system, the outdoor infrared motion detector detects an intruder before breaking in (around the house, balcony or terrace of an apartment) distinguishing a human being from a pet.
This detector is intended to operate in a harsh environment (vegetation...). To avoid annoying shots, the detection is confirmed by cutting two infrared rays and microwave detection.
The external motion detector is connected to a wall outside the house. It then protects the external volume by detecting the infrared radiation emitted by an individual moving within its field of vision.
It is self-protected against opening and tearing in case of attempted sabotage. It also has self-protection against masking that triggers an alarm after 3 minutes if covered.
Compatible with IO or RTS roller shutters, they can be closed when detected (via the PROTEXIAL control unit).
