The detector allows the presence of methane gas to be reported in concentrations lower than the 10% limit (lower explosive limit (LEL)), well before an explosive mixture forms.
The detector has a relay alarm output with changeover contact (NO and NC), an opto-isolated NC contact fault output and two terminals for connecting a current-absorbing line for conventional control panels.
