Description
Microprocessor-based, addressable sounder (with short-circuit isolator) installed as an additional loop element. The sounder is made of red heat-resistant ABS.
This is a module with a single programming function for timing and the combination of sensors that activate it. This sounder is configured as a relay that acts as a sounder.
The SIRAYL variant also emits visual signals. The fact that these sounders specifically emit light does not affect the control panel programming. For this reason, these devices are programmed in the control panel as if they were the SIRAY model.
The standard sounder tone configuration is shown in Figure 8A in accordance with standard EN 54-3 (audible alarm device).
The tone and light signal selections can be changed, but this affects the sounder’s power consumption and, consequently, the device’s point consumption. Figure 8B shows an equivalence table for the tone selections (standard sound level 95 dB at 1 m and maximum sound level 105 dB at 1 m) and the visual signal (W-2,4-2,3/7,5). The precise calculation can be performed using the loop element capacity calculation software.
The internal wiring and the positions of other microswitches must not be changed from the manufacturer's default settings.
