Addressable analog optical smoke sensor for fire detection.
The operating principle of the A30XHA / A30XHAS sensor is based on the Tyndall effect (light scattering in a dark chamber) created in an optical chamber.
Changes in its electrical characteristics in the presence of combustion aerosols make it suitable for use as a smoke sensor.
Features
• Low profile, total height under 53.4 mm (including the base)
• Also available with a high base for 20 mm conduit
• Dual red alarm LED, making it possible to identify the detector in alarm from any direction (360°)
• Can be connected to a remote indicator
• Easy connection, polarity-independent
• LEDs indicate communication with the control panel (single flash) and alarm status (LEDs on)
• Sensor contamination status shown on the control panel display (the sensor distinguishes rapid signal increases caused by alarms from small, slow, sustained increases caused by dust and dirt buildup)
• Easy-to-install head and base, interchangeable across the A30X range and made of white heat-resistant ABS
