The SM-BMQ SV-HRSB series active infrared multi-beam barrier is designed to protect indoor areas such as corridors, windows or doors, as well as for indoor and outdoor applications (the outdoor range is reduced by 50%), such as monitoring porches, tunnels, driveways and attics. It consists of a transmitter that emits 6 synchronized double beams of invisible infrared light and a receiver that processes the light intensity to trigger the alarm. The infrared barrier triggers an alarm if one or two beams are interrupted, according to the programmed settings; the receiver unit signals the alarm status via a relay, with local indication by an LED and an internal buzzer if enabled. The original swivel mounting bracket allows the bars to be oriented for optimal alignment. Wall-flush installation is recommended. Dimensions of a single bar: L1120 x H30 x D30 mm. Weight of the TX and RX pair: 720 g. Assembled and tested at the Securvera facility in Rome. Covered by the statutory warranty against manufacturing defects and faults.
