The SM-BMC SV-HRSB series active infrared multi-beam barrier is designed to protect indoor areas such as corridors, windows or doors, as well as for indoor and outdoor applications (outdoor range is reduced by 50%), such as monitoring porches, tunnels, driveways and attics. It consists of a transmitter that emits 3 synchronized pairs of invisible infrared light beams and a receiver that processes the light intensity to trigger an alarm. The infrared barrier triggers an alarm if one or two beams are interrupted, according to the programmed settings; the receiver unit signals the alarm status via a relay, with local indication by an LED and an internal buzzer if enabled. Indoor range: 30 metres; outdoor range: 15 metres. The original swivel mount allows the bars to be adjusted for optimal alignment. Wall-flush installation is recommended. Dimensions of each bar: L560XH30XP30 mm. Weight of TX and RX pair: 497 g. Product assembled and selected at the Securvera facility in Rome.
