SV-MSI Counter module for: fast NC and NO electrical pulses; can monitor line continuity. Use the jumper to program from 1 to 8 very short pulses (under 500 mS); counting ends when the relay activates. Use: analysis of the SS-SAL switchallarm, as well as any other sensor; if set for 2 or more pulses, it must receive at least 2 pulses within eight minutes to generate an alarm. The counting system has an automatic reset and activates after 8 minutes without further pulses. It can be programmed to count pulses only, without monitoring line integrity, suitable for unreliable contacts that may remain open; or to monitor line integrity. It can be used to check that multiple sensors (infrared, photocells, dual technology) trigger an alarm simultaneously or consecutively, to monitor an entrance or route, and to prevent false alarms from sensors that respond too quickly. 12 V power supply.
