Description
The A30XHA sensor is based on the Tyndall effect (light scattering in a dark chamber) created in an optical chamber.
Changes in its electrical characteristics in the presence of combustion aerosols make it suitable for use as a smoke sensor.
It also incorporates a thermal sensor that activates when the temperature reaches 55°C.

• Low profile, total height under 53.4 mm (including base)
• Also available with a high base for 20 mm conduit
• Dual red alarm LED, enabling the detector in alarm status to be identified from any direction (360°)
• Can be connected to a remote indicator
• Easy, polarity-free wiring
• LEDs indicate communication with the control panel (single flash) and alarm status (LEDs lit)
• Sensor contamination status indicated on the control panel display (the sensor distinguishes between rapid signal increases that trigger an alarm and small, slow, sustained increases caused by dust and dirt buildup)
