NOVA Wi-Fi is the first photocell in the world completely via radio
where both the transmitter and receiver run on batteries.
Therefore, no wire connection to the control panel is necessary.
MASTER Wi-Fi takes care of managing the NOVA Wi-Fi photocells
• The infrared beam can be adjusted gradually both horizontally
(-90° ÷ +90°) and vertically (-5° ÷ +5°).
• An edge contact can be connected to both the transmitter and the receiver
mechanical or resistive with NC or NO contact and can therefore be installed on the door
mobile of a sliding gate.
• The photocell signals the MASTER Wi-Fi board when the batteries are low
to download completely (about a week before). MASTER Wi-Fi
emits an acoustic signal.
• The battery life is 3 years.
• The synchronism of the infrared beam is available on 2 different frequencies
selectable so as to be able to place two pairs of photocells even a lot
close to each other.
• Up to 6 pairs of NOVA Wi-Fi photocells can be installed by identifying them
uniquely.
• The range of the infrared signal of the photocells is greater than 25m.
• The range of the photocells' radio signal is greater than 20m.
• NOVA Wi-Fi is an EN12978, EN13849- Certified Security Device
2:2008 and together with a RIB electronic panel equipped with self-test is a
Class 2 protective device.
• The Firmware is certified according to the EN61508-3:2001 standard.
• It is possible to exclude a pair of photocells in case of maintenance
by moving a microswitch on the MASTER Wi-Fi board. The gate will be able to
continue working.
• It is possible to delete the code of the single pair of photocells and insert new ones
a new one in case of failure.
• Each NOVA Wi-Fi has a unique recognition code programmed into it
factory.
