The maximum range of the Baby Eve photocell, tested in an open field, is 200 metres.
Its long range ensures operation in fog or heavy rain, while the collimator fitted to the receiver minimises interference caused by sunlight.
Easy to align, with alignment also indicated by a change in the LED colour. The LED has the dual function of indicating correct communication between the transmitter and receiver, and therefore successful alignment, as well as any faults or communication interruptions.
