Kato 305 and 305 RWA have successfully passed the most stringent heat and fire resistance tests, as specified by standard EN 12101-2:2003-09, achieving classification B 300 under certificate no. 13-000921, issued by the IFT testing institute in Rosenheim in 2013. The Kato 305 and 305 RWA chain actuators guarantee safety, quality, efficiency, reliability and simple construction, with an attractive design created to complement state-of-the-art windows. They feature new microprocessor-based electronic technology for position control and management of every operating phase. Die-cast aluminium housing, zinc alloy (zamak) brackets. Easy to install, they fit into the supports without screws or fasteners using a quick-fit system (Nekos patented system). Another Nekos patent allows quick release from the window for easy cleaning. Strokes are selectable using a dip switch.
Kato 305 and 305 RWA are electric chain actuators with a double-row, four-link articulated chain housed in a suitable aluminium enclosure, designed to operate top-hung and tilt windows, domes and skylights.

• Operates at 110/230VAC 50/60Hz or at 24VDC low voltage for RWA systems, in compliance with European Standard EN12101-2;
• Electronic opening limit switch with three strokes (200 - 300 - 500 mm), selectable at any time using a dip switch, with power consumption monitoring during closing and overload protection. Soft Stop and Relax function;
• Supplied complete with universal quick-fit tilting support brackets, with no screws (patented);
• Can be connected in parallel.
