Description
This module allows conventional detectors and/or push buttons to be connected to an analogue fire detection system, acting as an interface between an analogue control panel and a conventional system.
A maximum of 10 conventional push buttons can be installed on the "Zone C" terminal block. A maximum of 32 devices, including detectors (A30XH, A30XHS, A30XT and A30XV) and conventional push buttons, are permitted on the "Zone D" terminal block. Both terminal blocks supervise the line using a 4K7 end-of-line resistor. This indicates whether the line is open, shorted, or in detector or push-button alarm.

• It has a microswitch for configuring the zone thresholds:
- Open-line threshold (µswitch pins 1-2)
- Detector alarm activation threshold (µswitch pins 3-4)
- Push-button alarm activation threshold (µswitch pin 5)
• The flashing transparent red LED indicates communication with the control panel, while a steady light indicates an alarm condition from a detector or button connected to this module
• This module has an output for activating a remote annunciator, which is activated when the module is in alarm status
• This module is powered via the loop connection and requires a 24V auxiliary power supply to power the zones (this voltage is monitored by the microcontroller)
