GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IRIS SERIES:
The adjustable IRIS photocells detect obstacles on the optical axis between the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), with a range of up to 30 m.
Advanced design: The photocell is housed on a rotating support fitted with a high-performance lens designed to optimize beam efficiency in any direction. The rotating support is locked in the desired position by a sturdy rotation lock with screw fastening (removable with a screwdriver if necessary). Alignment is indicated by an LED on the receiver.
The high-performance Fresnel-type optics are easily adjustable on friction, self-locking joints, both horizontally, with a 180° rotation (± 90°), and vertically, with a possible rotation of ± 10°. The optics are completely independent of the electronic board, greatly facilitating adjustment after wiring is completed.
Double-relay equipment with series switching; the NC contact and photocell test function make it compliant with category 3 of UNI EN ISO 13849-1 (update of EN 954-1). Up to 8 pairs of photocells can be connected by synchronizing the transmission (multiplexed system), without interference. Selection is made using 4-way DIP switches on both the transmitter and receiver.
IR transmission with an advanced digital protocol that ensures maximum efficiency, immunity to interference, and reduced power consumption. Reinforced power supply to tolerate voltages up to 35Vdc or 30Vac.
Up to 8 pairs of photocells can be connected by synchronizing the transmission (multiplexed system).
EDGE FUNCTION: with wireless transmitter, it has an input for connecting a safety edge with an NC contact.
