SV-MSI Counter module for: fast electrical pulses, NC and NO; can monitor line continuity. Using a jumper, it can be programmed for 1 to 8 very short pulses (under 500 ms); counting ends when the relay is activated. Uses: analysis of the SS-SAL switchallarm, as well as any other sensor. When programmed for 2 or more pulses, it must receive at least 2 pulses within eight minutes to trigger an alarm. Self-resetting counting system; it activates after 8 minutes without receiving any further pulses. It can be programmed to count pulses only, without monitoring line integrity, suitable for unreliable contacts that may remain open; or to monitor line integrity. It can be used to check that multiple sensors (infrared sensors, photocells, dual-technology sensors) trigger an alarm simultaneously or consecutively, to monitor an entrance or route, or to prevent false alarms from overly fast sensors. 12 V power supply. SS-SAL Switchallarm NC mechanical contact. The system is operated by a nylon cord approximately 2.7 to 3 meters long (mechanically determined), wound around and sliding over pulleys. The cord's movement causes the contact to open for approximately 50 ms (requires the SV-MSI pulse counter amplifier).
