FAST PULSE COUNTER FOR ROTELLO SWITCHALLARMS SINTAP ALARM COMPONENT
SV-MSI Counter module for fast NC and NO electrical pulses; it can monitor line continuity. Using the jumper, it can be set from 1 to 8 very short pulses (less than 500 ms); counting ends when the relay is activated. Application: analysis of the SS-SAL switchallarm, as well as any other sensor. When set to 2 or more pulses, it must receive at least 2 pulses within eight minutes to generate an alarm. The counting system has an automatic reset and activates after 8 minutes without receiving further pulses. It can be set to count pulses only, without monitoring line integrity, making it suitable for unreliable contacts that may remain open; alternatively, it can monitor line integrity. It can be used to ensure that multiple sensors (infrared sensors, photocells, dual-technology sensors) trigger an alarm simultaneously or consecutively, to monitor an entrance or a route, and to prevent false alarms from sensors that are too fast. SS-SAL Switchallarm NC mechanical contact. The system is operated by a nylon cord approximately 2.7 to 3 metres long (mechanically determined), wound around and sliding over pulleys. The movement of the cord causes the contact to open for approximately 50 ms. (Requires the SV-MSI pulse counter amplifier.)
