SB-CEP electronic key for Benel Norma 4 and Norma 8 control panels, for PROXI and ECLIPSE series readers. The reader is equipped with an inductive transmitter and receiver. When energized by the reader, the key releases random codes, which are read and accepted by the processor that activates the devices. Inserting a counterfeit or unprogrammed key into the reader will trigger a tamper alarm. At the factory (default), the processor is configured to accept blank activators and to program the key with a new random code to ensure an adequate level of security.
