Chain actuator for top-hung and tilt windows, domes and dormer windows. Kato 253 is the result of Nekos's skilful development to meet market needs. Small, smart and affordable! Simple mechanical selection between two strokes, 240 mm and 360 mm.
Equipped with a microprocessor with the following functions:
• Progressive start ramp.
Power control throughout the stroke.
• Even simpler, more immediate stroke selection.
• Relax function to relieve mechanical components after each end of travel.
• Accessories compatible with the entire Kato series.
It has a compact design, and its housing and brackets are made of high-strength composite material (glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide).
This actuator also uses the same patents as the chain actuators manufactured using Nekos technology, both for the quick-fit actuator mount and for the sash fittings.
Electric actuator with a four-link, double-row articulated chain, enclosed in a suitable composite-material housing, designed to operate top-hung and tilt windows, domes and dormer windows.

• Powered by 110/230V AC 50/60Hz or, alternatively, 24V DC;
• Supplied complete with brackets for quick installation without screws (patented);
• Quick-fit brackets for tilt or top-hung windows (patented);
• Two mechanically selectable opening strokes;
• Power-consumption-based end-of-travel stop in the opening and closing directions, with overload protection;
• Can be connected in parallel.
