Main features
Protecting the installation: the electric lock enables installations to better withstand forces applied to swing gate leaves, particularly on large gates, such as people pushing against them or forces generated by wind. These forces are transferred to the electric lock rather than the gearmotor, protecting it and ensuring longer service life and reliable operation over time
A complete offering for reversible operators: the electric lock is an essential accessory for installations using reversible operators, ensuring the leaves are locked when closed
Expanded product range: the new 24V EBP A model, which connects directly to the control unit, makes it easy and straightforward to create complete, safe low-voltage swing gate systems
Streamlined product range: the specific electric lock models with an external key cylinder (street side) have been discontinued. On all new EBP A models, the dedicated external key cylinder accessory can be added at any time; it is available in two lengths, 52 or 75 mm. The accessory also includes an internal key cylinder with the same key as the external one, which replaces the one fitted in the electric lock
External opening: the EBP A electric lock can be installed on both swing gates that open inward and those that open outward (the strike plate with the ground-mounted hole must be installed with the ramp facing the appropriate direction)
The convenience of a single key for the entire system: the new EBP A can be ordered with a specific internal key cylinder, or accessories with internal and external key cylinders can be ordered with a specific key number, allowing the same key to unlock the operator, operate the selector switch and release the electric lock
Design: the product's new look has been updated to match Bft's modern style, allowing it to blend seamlessly into the installation setting
