GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IRIS SERIES:
The adjustable IRIS infrared photocells detect obstacles on the optical axis between the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), with a range of up to 30 m.
Advanced design: The photocell is housed on a rotating mount fitted with a high-performance lens designed to optimize beam efficiency in any direction. The rotating mount is locked in the desired position by a durable rotation lock with screw fastening (removable with a screwdriver if required). Alignment is indicated by an LED on the receiver.
The high-performance Fresnel-type optics are easily adjusted using friction hinges with self-locking joints, both horizontally, with a rotation of 180° (± 90°), and vertically, with a rotation of ± 10°. The optics are completely independent of the electronic board, greatly simplifying alignment after wiring.
Double-relay devices with series switching; the NC contact and photocell test function make them compliant with category 3 of UNI EN ISO 13849-1 (update of EN 954-1). Ability to connect up to 8 pairs of photocells by synchronizing transmission (multiplexed system) without interference. Selection is made using 4-way DIP switches on both the transmitter and receiver.
IR transmission with an advanced digital protocol that ensures maximum efficiency, immunity to interference, and reduced power consumption. Reinforced power supply tolerates voltages up to 35Vdc or 30Vac.
Ability to connect up to 8 pairs of photocells by synchronizing transmission using a multiplexed system. Integrated LED board on both units to illuminate the surrounding area.
