SS-SAL Switchallarm N.C. contact. 1 A at 24 V. The system is activated by a nylon cord approximately 3 metres long, extending about 2.7 metres. Runs over a wear-resistant brass pulley; inside the housing, it is wound around a nylon reel with cam-shaped edges. The cord moving over the cams causes a series of contact openings/closures (about six for every 18 cm of cord); the opening and closing of the contact generates pulses of about 4/6 ms. (requires the SV-MSI pulse counter amplifier). Suitable for protecting roller shutters and rolling doors against cutting, tearing and lifting. Nylon housing. IP30 protection rating.
