The concentrator module is equipped with a short circuit isolator, allowing the connection of conventional type detectors on the 500 family digital system.
Form 1043/538 provides:
- Supervised conventional detection line on which it is possible to connect up to a maximum of 32 detectors.
- Supervised siren output to which it is possible to connect an alarm signal directly controlled by the module going into alarm.
The module can be programmed, via the control unit, to operate in single or double consensus. In the first operating mode, when a detector goes into alarm condition, the module notifies the control unit and automatically activates its siren output; in the second mode, however, the activation of the siren output occurs when the second detector goes into alarm condition.
The siren output, when active, can be both silenced and reset directly from the control panel. For its correct operation, the module needs to be powered by an external 24Vdc source.
