With FAAC encoded TAGs in the Mifare 13.56 MHz version, cloning security is enhanced because the TAG's "public" UID is not used. Instead, a code derived from a proprietary algorithm is stored in its internal memory, which can only be accessed using a private key defined in the KEYDOM system. This solution meets the needs of customers requiring a high level of security by ensuring that each credential is unique. FAAC encoded TAGs, both 125 KHz and Mifare 13.56 MHz, also make it easier to add them to the KEYDOM database by simply entering the number printed on the TAG, avoiding the need to read it automatically.
