The SM-BMO SV-HRSB series active infrared multi-beam barrier is designed to protect indoor areas such as corridors, windows, or doors, as well as indoor and outdoor applications (the outdoor range is reduced by 50%), such as monitoring porches, tunnels, driveways, and attics. It consists of a transmitter that emits 8 synchronized dual beams of invisible infrared light and a receiver that processes the light intensity to generate an alarm. The infrared barrier triggers an alarm if one or two beams are interrupted, according to the programmed settings; the receiver unit signals the alarm status via a relay, locally repeated by an LED and internal buzzer if enabled. The original swivel mount allows the bars to be adjusted for optimal alignment. Installation flush against the wall is recommended. Single bar dimensions: L1520XH30XP30 mm.
