DOUBLE-TECHNOLOGY pedestrian door sensor: EN16005
VIO-DT combines a radar motion sensor for opening the door with a failsafe dual active infrared curtain to protect users, in compliance with standard EN 16005. The opening and closing of the door are controlled by a unidirectional radar, while safety is provided by the two failsafe curtains with 24 infrared spots.
The unidirectional detection of VIO-DT1 saves energy inside the building. The door closes sooner and reduces heat loss.
INFRARED technology
Recommended for DETECTING THE PRESENCE of people in places with limited space. In fact, thanks to its many adjustments, it allows very precise settings in narrow fields. In addition, it is possible to "mask" lateral passage areas.
MICROWAVE technology
Recommended for DETECTING THE MOVEMENT of people as well as objects, such as supermarket trolleys. In addition, compared with infrared sensors, it has larger coverage areas, so it opens from farther away.
