Specifications
The QX Infinity Series (QXI) is a family of infrared and dual-technology sensors offering a wide 120° detection angle and 12 m coverage. Their elegant, compact design makes QXI sensors ideal for any residential or commercial building, providing reliable motion detection, pet immunity, and activation of CCTV camera alarm panels. OPTEX-174 (QXI-ST) is the wired model.
Adjustable mounting height
QXI outdoor intrusion detectors can be installed high - between 2.2 m and 2.7 m high - for multi-level volumetric detection that allows small animals to be ignored. In environments with large animals, the sensor can be mounted between 0.8 and 1.2 m high to ignore pets passing by.
Detection pattern analysis to ignore false alarms
All QXI models feature an analysis logic called SMDA, which analyzes the detection pattern and changes in the environment, such as weather or moving vegetation, to discriminate noise and the causes of nuisance false alarms. In addition, the entire QXI range features a dual conductive shield to filter light or electromagnetic interference.
Elegant design and easy installation
The detector dimensions and cover finish have been designed to blend into the façade of any residential or commercial building. With the customer in mind, the sensor features a screwless design that makes it very easy to open and close the front cover using just a flat-head screwdriver.
