How RFID works
RFID stands for radio frequency identification, which uses contactless radio transmission.
RFID tags are microchips with a receiving and transmitting antenna; their 14-digit code can be transmitted without a battery.
Each transponder contains a unique, unalterable code that is programmed during manufacture. The code is stored in the database
of the reader (or multiple systems) is stored.
Operation: The transponder's data is transmitted as a code and compared with the entries in the database.
If the code is recognized, the sensor output is activated; if the code is unknown, the sensor output is not enabled.
