GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE IRIS SERIES:
IRIS adjustable photocells detect obstacles on the optical axis between the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), with a range of up to 30 m.
Cutting-edge design: The photocell is housed in a rotating mount fitted with a high-performance lens designed to optimize beam efficiency in any direction. The rotating mount is locked in the desired position by a sturdy screw-tightened rotation lock (removable with a screwdriver if necessary). Successful alignment is indicated by an LED on the receiver.
The high-performance Fresnel-type optics are easily adjustable on self-locking friction joints both horizontally, allowing a 180° rotation (± 90°), and vertically, with a possible rotation of ± 10°. The optics are completely independent of the electronic board, greatly facilitating alignment once wiring is complete.
Double-relay equipment with series switching; the NC contact and photocell test function make it compliant with Category 3 of UNI EN ISO 13849-1 (update of EN 954-1). Up to 8 pairs of photocells can be connected by synchronizing transmission (multiplexed system) without interference. Selection is made using 4-way DIP switches located on both the transmitter and receiver.
IR transmission with an advanced digital protocol that ensures maximum efficiency, immunity to interference and reduced power consumption. Reinforced power supply to withstand voltages up to 35Vdc or 30Vac.
The optics are adjustable on self-locking friction joints both horizontally, allowing a 180° rotation, and vertically, with a possible rotation of ± 10° from the horizontal position.
