Mechanical safety edge with EN12978-sensitive ends
The safety edge consists of an elastic rubber impact-absorbing profile,
with a steel cable and an aluminium profile which, when fixed to the post or gate, supports the extrusion itself.
The device operates using two double-contact microswitches that work
on the deformation of the rubber and as a safety measure in the event that the steel cable loses tension.
Together with the control unit’s TEST function, the device complies with the EN12978 standard.
Its design features, the result of the product’s natural evolution,
make it easy to install and highly reliable.
