SB-CEN electronic key for Norma 4 and Norma 8 control panels for older BPI-series readers. The reader is equipped with LEDs indicating the commands transmitted by the key and accepted by the Norma control panel. If the false key option is enabled, inserting a false or unmemorized key into the reader will trigger a tamper alarm. In any case, no operations can be performed on the control panel using a false key. At the factory (default), the control panel is configured to accept blank keys; therefore, to use the digital key, a new random code must be programmed to ensure an adequate level of security.
