SS-LRS Industrial-Use Clear Incandescent Bulb 240 V 70 W E27. High Luminous Efficacy, 1200 Lumens. Special Incandescent Bulb, Original Replacement Part for Traffic Lights. Not Suitable for Domestic Use. Incandescent lamps work by passing electric current through the tungsten filament inside the bulb, heating it until it glows and reaches a temperature of approximately 2700 K, producing light. When the lamp is switched on, the filament is cold and its resistance is low, causing a current surge lasting a few tenths of a second, with a value 10-12 times the steady-state current. The new incandescent bulbs for traffic lights contain a low-pressure gas that provides 10% greater output and keeps the heat level low, preventing the lamp, which is enclosed inside without air, from causing damage or being damaged.
