Faro DT-AM Plus is Venitem's new dual-technology volumetric detector, comprising a microwave (MW) section and a passive infrared (PIR) section.
One of the key features of this high-tech motion detector is its selectable built-in end-of-line resistors, which allow double or triple balancing directly from the internal board.
This technology enables more complex installations using up to 3 Faro DT-AM Plus presence sensors in the same room.
To get the best results from these installations, position the detectors at least 6 metres apart and at an angle of less than 70° to prevent the microwaves from interfering with one another.
Furthermore, this low-power device features an ECO function that automatically switches off the microwave when the premises are occupied.
In addition, the detection mode can be customized while the system is armed using the AND-OR function, which allows both microwave and infrared technologies to operate simultaneously or one of them to be disabled.

That is why the Faro DT-AM Plus presence detector features microwave anti-masking technology with a dedicated output, protecting the sensor from attempts to blind it and ensuring that a fault signal is sent to the control panel, which will turn it into a pre-alarm or audible alarm.
