The optical-thermal detector analyzes the air and temperature in the protected area in order to immediately generate the fire alarm. The alarm condition occurs when:
- the amount of smoke in the optical chamber exceeds the alarm threshold
- the temperature or thermal variation in a certain period of time exceeds the alarm threshold
Sophisticated radio signal processing algorithms ensure maximum safety and reliability performance.
A magnet built into the detector allows for an alarm state simulation test to be performed to verify correct communication and functionality of the device itself.
