Specifications
The QX Infinity (QXI) series is a family of infrared and dual-technology sensors offering a wide 120° detection angle and 12 m coverage. Their elegant, compact design makes QXI sensors ideal for any residential or commercial building, providing reliable motion detection, pet immunity and activation of CCTV camera alarm panels. OPTEX-176 (QXI-RDT) is the dual-technology wireless model.
Dual technology and OPTEX Tough microwave module
The QXI series combines infrared and microwave technology to confirm alarms, triggering an alarm only when motion is detected by both infrared and microwave sensors. In addition, the detectors feature the OPTEX Tough microwave module to prevent corrosion caused by condensation and humidity.
Adjustable mounting height
QXI outdoor intrusion detectors can be installed high up - between 2.2 m and 2.7 m - using a multilayer volumetric detection mode that ignores small animals. In areas with larger animals, the sensor can be mounted between 0.8 and 1.2 m high to ignore pets passing by.
Detection pattern analysis to ignore false alarms
All QXI models feature SMDA analysis logic, which analyses the detection pattern and environmental changes, such as weather conditions or vegetation movement, to distinguish interference from the causes of nuisance false alarms. In addition, the entire QXI range features a dual conductive coating to filter out interference from light and electromagnetic sources.
Convenient wireless technology
The QXI-RDT wireless sensor can be added to most wireless alarm systems and offers the advantage of quickly and effectively protecting access to facilities or any other outdoor building. The housing can accommodate most wireless radio transmitters available on the market.
